The 12a/11c rerun of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on USA was sponsored by KY Intimate Options, a new product from the personal lubricant company. The sponsorship was highlighted with a standard pre-commercial bumper stating that “SVU on USA is brought to you by KY Intimate Options.”
I really have to question the wisdom of shilling lube during a show about sex crimes (in this case, during a rape-themed episode). Is that really the association you want your customers to make with your product?
