One of last fall’s most anticipated new series finally sees the light of primetime tonight on CBS. Swingtown, a ’70s-era drama about swingers in the time of free love, debuts at 10p/9c. Grant Show is probably the best-known of the cast. This show has the potential to be a game-changer in a time when many critics think network TV isn’t taking enough risks. Sure, CBS could’ve been bolder and aired Swingtown during the actual season, but I think it’s better late than never, especially after such a bizarre strike-affected season.
