ER makes its debut on Ion TV (formerly Pax) tonight. I’ve been grooving on TNT’s morning reruns of season three lately. But Ion recently acquired seasons 11 through 14 and is launching the show with mini-marathons this week in primetime. This week’s episodes feature guest star’s who’ve won or been nominated for primetime Emmy Awards. Tonight’s block begins at 8p/7c and includes the episodes “Ruby Redux,” “Alone in a Crowd,” and “Time of Death.” Whether Ion’s new strategy of poaching popular series for primetime is effective remains to be seen, though it’s clear that Baywatch didn’t work out for them.
