BB8 | After Dark Update (7/19; contains spoilers)

In Big Brother: After Dark, ShoToo on July 19, 2007 at 11:14 pm

I’m back from vacation, and so are these live headlines from the Big Brother house:

  • Joe was evicted today by a vote of 9 to 1
  • Kail was the only vote against Dick
  • Dick won today’s head of household competition
  • Tomorrow is a new food competition
  • Nomination ceremonies will be held Friday afternoon…

Kail has spent the last few minutes explaining to Dustin and Amber how her “literal handshake” alliance with Mike and “two other people” was betrayed by these two others in tonight’s live vote to evict Joe. (Of course, the other two she’s talking about are Nick and Zach — the other half of the “Mrs. Robinson” Alliance.) Wait. Why doesn’t she realize that Mike betrayed her as well, since she acknowledges that he “found out what they were gonna do and changed” his vote, making Kail the lone vote to evict Dick, who was named this week’s head of household just minutes later?

She also claims Dick told her that if she goes on the block this week, she’s safe from eviction, even while telling her he’s targeting her alliance? (Dick is apparently also in the dark about the other two people in the Mrs. Robinson Alliance.) Why would Kail believe that? Can she really be this bad, or is it another elaborate, but ultimately misguided strategy, like keeping a tight lid on her successes as a multiple business owner?

It’s as confusing as it sounds, and with the departure of Kail, Dustin and Amber are poking holes in all this nonsensical babble. Oh, the manufactured TV drama! I’ve missed it so.
