‘Austin’ returns in October

A new season of Texas’ long-running live music showcase, Austin City Limits, is coming to public television this fall. Artists on tap for the 33rd season include Norah Jones, The Decemberists, Regina Spektor, The Arcade Fire, Wilco, Crowded House, Lucinda Williams, Bloc Party, and Austin fave Ghostland Observatory. A new season begins on PBS the first week in October.

If you’re craving live music in the meantime, PBS offers a summer substitute in Soundstage. Airing this week, the second hour in a two-part concert by Jewel.
