BB8 | Controversy: the name of the game

In Big Brother, Big Brother: After Dark, CBS, Elsewhere, ShoToo on August 30, 2007 at 6:03 pm

Just minutes to go before tonight’s live eviction, but first:

AP via CNN on the fights and feuds that are keeping the show hot and getting people talking. “The producers are operating essentially two differently realities,” explains Andy Dehnart from Reality Blurred.

This is definitely an article worth reading, as it explores this season’s biggest controversies, including what you can’t see on CBS and what the media won’t be allowed to ask Amber if and when she’s evicted.

  1. I was a viewer. I stopped. This is disrespectful and degrading to women. I will never watch anything on CBS again nor will my family, friends and anyone else I can influence. DISGRACEFUL!!!!

  2. It’s really a sad turn of events and a shame that BB8 After Dark has resorted to allowing racist, anti-semetic, as well as degrading remarks about women (and a fist fight thrown in) to be aired soley for the purpose of ratings. I wonder how many of the powers that be- the suites and skirts, would like their mothers, daughters, sons or themselves to be referred to or spoken to in that manner. And as far as the psych evaluation is concerned, what kind of tests did they use and who gave them…NASA? Plus one guest was a meht/drug user, the other having a “relationship” with her pastor, the other an immature, angry, foul-mouthed and verbally abusive woman hater, and the list goes on. So this is what a cross section of America looks like…And why the naked shots of the houseguests? How proud their families must be and what a surprise for them when they get out.

  3. WOW! wait til people see the first round of final 3 comp. Dick is out of control!!! The words he is using to Zach is HORRIFIC!!! I am apalled that CBS is allowing this. I will not watch any new shows from CBS. Once big brother is over, that’s it. There is no reason that they should let this go on.
