Degrassi: The Next Generation began its first-ever broadcast syndication cycle this week on local stations across the country (check local listings). In Huntsville, the show airs back-to-back episoders weekdays at 2 p.m./CT on The CW affiliate, WHDF-TV 15.
And the show is flagged with an ‘E/I’ bug, indicating that it is intended to meet the FCC’s requirement that stations air a minimum of three hours of children’s educational and informational programming each week.
Last week, the show won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Series. Its sixth season recently concluded on cable network The N, which will continue to air new episodes.
