BB9 | After Dark Update (2/24)

In Big Brother: After Dark on February 25, 2008 at 9:30 pm

  • A veto ceremony was held Sunday
  • Meanwhile, female contestants strutted their stuff during “Bikini Day,” after the guys chose an option during HoH competition, requiring the girls to wear their skimpy suits for 24 hours…

Perhaps resultantly, Natalie and Chelsia put on a literal strip show for the rest of the house, bumping and grinding their various private parts on all their fellow houseguests. The performance was hosted by a scantily clad Josh and went on for at least 20 minutes. It was both gratuitous and disgusting.

Then the gang took it outside, where everyone romped in the pool, some of them more naked than others (James streaked through the backyard, though he is certainly no stranger to nudity and sex in front of cameras).

The houseguests seemed to indicate that their performance was carefully timed to take place during After Dark hours. I suppose this is exactly the sort of behavior Viacom was hoping for when it dreamed up the pay-cable outlet for the franchise. I bet they were pleased with themselves today.

Small wonder that BBAD carries a U.S.C. Title 18, Section 2257 Compliance Statement — it’s finally living down to its reputation and turning into low-budget cable porn.

The people to feel worst for, however — even worse than for the houseguests when it occurs to them what went on here —  are their unsuspecting friends and family members, who never bargained for getting to see quite this much of their relatives on television.
