The season finale felt a bit anticlimactic, for a globetrotting race to $1 million. Margie & Luke led early once the teams arrived in Hawaii, which should’ve been a clue that they would not be first to the finish line. Thanks to Victor smoking the roadblock, he and Tammy came in first, as the second consecutive brother-sister team to win a race.
It was cool of Cara & Jaime to put Luke out of his misery at the end (though not cool enough to make up for their omnipresent hostility toward the hacks); these two teams cultivated a friendship early in the race that came in handy on this final task. After 28 days of competition and disrupted sleep patterns, my brain would likely be too fried to successfully complete the mindbender they always save for the final leg.
